Clear Springs’ Emma Strood was selected as one of three finalists for Vype Magazine’s high school softball player of the year. Strood was named the District 24-6A player of the year as the LSU commit finished with a 20-4 record with a 1.03 ERA while also batting .385 and hitting six homers for the Chargers.
