Congratulations to the Dickinson Girls and Boys Track & Field teams, crowned District 24-6A Champions. The Dickinson Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys won the 24-6A District Championship Thursday night!

Varsity Girls Results:

100m: 1st Place Anaya Jones, 2nd Place Dalaney Pope, 3rd Place Jalyn Green – Clean Sweep

200m: 1st Place Anaya Jones, 2nd Place J’Nesis James 3rd Place Riley McKinney – Clean Sweep

400m: 3rd Place Ja’Liyah Valdez, 5th Place Janeshia “Tiny” Dixon

100 Hurdles: 6th Place Peyton Ray

4x100m Relay: Anaya Jones, Dalaney Pope, J’Nesis James, Riley McKinney – Place 1st

Dickinson High School speed merchant Richard Lee not only won first place medals during the District 24-6A meet last week but also chose where he’ll attend college. Texas A&M University will have the honor of having Lee, who will begin attending the school this fall.
