WEDNESDAY: The high school wrestling season continues with Clear Falls at Summer Creek beginning at 4:00pm, while Brazoswood is at Friendswood at 4:00pm and Houston Northside at Clear Creek begins at 5:00pm. Clear Springs will take part in the two-day Tiger Classic at Klein Collins High School. The Rockets play the second of three straight games at Toyota Center when they host the Nets at 7:00pm. Houston won the only other meeting between the teams when they claimed a 119-111 victory at Brooklyn on November 2. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will start the pregame coverage at 6:30pm. THURSDAY: In boys’ high school soccer, Alief Eisenhower is at Clear Falls beginning at 7:30pm. Clear Springs is at the Lumberton Tournament, while Friendswood heads to Deer Park for the Battleground Classic Tournament. Galveston Ball’s boys and girls teams will co-host the Galveston Varsity Tournament. The girls high school soccer schedule will have Clear Creek, Clear Falls and Friendswood at the CCISD Invitational. Clear Springs is at the Governor’s Cup in Georgetown, while Santa Fe is at the La Porte Tournament. More high school wrestling is on tap as Clear Brook is at George Ranch starting at 5:000pm. FRIDAY: Boys’ high school basketball gets underway with Clear Falls at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Dickinson, Friendswood at Goose Creek Memorial, Galena Park at Santa Fe and Galveston Ball at Texas City beginning at 7:00pm. Hitchcock at Danbury tips off at 7:30pm. In girls’ high school basketball, Hitchcock at Danbury begins the evening at 6:15pm. Dickinson at Clear Creek, Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Goose Creek Memorial at Friendswood, Santa Fe at Galena Park and Texas City at Galveston Ball each start at 7:00pm. The boys’ soccer schedule will have Sam Houston at Texas City beginning at 5:30pm. Pearland at Clear Creek and Clear Brook at Santa Fe start their respective matches at 7:00pm. Tennis action will be held at the Fort Bend Tournament, which is where Clear Brook and Clear Creek will play, while Clear Springs and Texas City are among the teams at the Alvin Tournament. SATURDAY: The highlight of the day will be at Clear Falls, where the Knights will host the Armbar Invitational. Clear Brook, Clear Creek, Clear Springs will also be among the schools participating. La Marque’s girls’ powerlifting team will be in Splendora for the Splendora Meet. The Rockets will be center stage for ABC’s Saturday Night Basketball as they host the Lakers beginning at 7:30pm. Los Angeles is expected to have LeBron James back in the lineup, as he entered the week having missed the team’s last 10 games with a groin injury.
