THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME to attend the 37th Annual Livestock Show and & Auction, which will be held at 2155 West NASA Blvd. in Webster on January 29-31. The public is invited to come out and see CCISD high school students exhibit a variety of livestock including steers, heifers, goats, rabbits, chickens and swine. Students will also be exhibiting non-livestock projects such as floral designs, visual arts, and agriculture mechanics. These students dedicate many hours throughout the school year to select, care for, and develop their projects. Listed below is the complete show and auction schedule: January 29th 5:30 p.m. – Swine Show January 30th 8:30 a.m. – Floriculture, Horticulture, Food Science, Visual Arts, and Agricultural Mechanics Judging 8:00 a.m. – Rabbit Show; Poultry Show immediately following ***All remaining shows will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the previous show*** – Lamb Show – Goat Show – Steer Show – Heifer Show – Longhorn Show January 31: 5:00 p.m. – Buyer Registration and Dinner 7:00 p.m. – Live Auction Ways you can support these CCISD students: – Become a buyer for the auction (buyers can be single individuals, groups of individuals, or companies) – Sponsor awards or supplies – Add monetary amounts to the sale of student projects – Purchase student projects that do not make the auction For more information, please contact JT Buford, CTE program manager, at 281-284-0111 or jbuford@ccisd.net.
