Galveston College Honored The 1994 National Junior College Athletic Association Championship

Galveston College honored the 1994 National Junior College Athletic Association championship
on Thursday with a ceremony prior to a double-header against San Jacinto College. The ’94
Whitecaps finished 54-14 on the season in only its third season of existence and featured
pitcher Jose Rosado, who became a two-time American League All-Star with the Kansas City
Royals.
Santa Fe High School baseball coach Ronnie Wulf won his 500 th career game when the Indians
defeated Texas City on April 18. The Indians clinched the District 22-5A championship with a
win over Crosby on Tuesday night.
The Dickinson High School football team delivered off the field in a big way, as the Gators
donated $3,400 to the M.I. Lewis Social Services Center.
