Some days seem so long. Our physical bodies feel like we can’t take another step. Our emotions and spirits have reached their limits. Someone has tread on our very last nerve. Often, when we look around, we still have much to do when we reach those places inside ourselves. Then what? For many of us, we have no choice but to reach down and pull up some imaginary strength and keep going until we find a stopping point, then we collapse. You can’t help but be stressed physically and emotionally. So I talk about it often, but I wanted to remind you again tonight: don’t stress. Stress is a killer. It ages you. It robs you of happiness, contentment and peace. It sneaks in and before you know it, your quality of life has sunk to an all-time low. Whatever strength you have, use it to stand up to the stressors and say NOOOOOOO! Fight it off with everything you can. You deserve peace, times of relaxation, happiness and joy. It is why you are here.
