Five area high school softball teams will begin their bid for a possible state title when the UIL playoffs begin on Thursday with bi-district round play. Clear Springs, winners of District 24-6A, comes into the postseason with a perfect 23-0 record, while Santa Fe, who won the 22-5A title, has just two losses on its docket.
