Royals Visit Astros For Independence Day

The Astros close out the series with the Angels and will host the Royals on Independence Day as the start of a four-game series. Sunday will also give football fans a chance to see a former local high school football star compete for the USFL title.

Sunday: The Astros close out the weekend series against the Angels beginning at 1:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts coverage at 12:30pm with the pregame show.

Area football fans can watch La Marque alum Brian Allen and the Birmingham Stallions face the Philadelphia Stars for the United States Football League championship game, which will be aired live on Fox26 beginning at 6:30pm.

Monday: Independence Day provides a daytime start for the Astros, who welcome the Royals for the first of a four-game set beginning at 3:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have the game live starting with the pregame show at 2:30pm. The game will also be part of the ESPN+ package.

Tuesday: The Astros continue hosting the Royals as the second game of the series starts at 7:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts at 6:30pm with the pregame show.
