The next chapter for local track and field athletes is in area competition, where most of the area’s schools will compete in from Wednesday through Saturday.
Wednesday: La Marque’s track and field team will compete in the 4A, Region III area finals at Bay City.
Ball, Friendswood, Santa Fe, and Texas City are at La Porte for the 5A, Region III area track and field finals.
The Astros conclude their series at the Mariners at 3:10 PM. Space City Home Network begins the pregame show at 2:30 PM.
The Rockets continue their California swing with a 9:30 PM matchup against the Clippers. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 9 PM with the pregame show,
Thursday: No events scheduled.
Friday: The baseball slate starts at 6 PM with La Porte at Ball, Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Clear Lake at Clear Creek, Dickinson at Clear Springs, Friendswood at Texas City, and Sealy at La Marque. Hitchcock at East Bernard and Iowa Colony at Santa Fe begin at 7 PM.
The softball schedule starts at 6 PM with Hitchcock at East Bernard and Willowridge at La Marque. Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Clear Lake at Clear Creek, Clear Springs at Dickinson, and Friendswood at Santa Fe begin at 6:30 PM, followed by Bridge City at Ball at 7 PM.
The Astros return home to face the Angels at 7:10 PM. Space City Home Network begins the pregame show at 6:30 PM.
