Once again, Mayor Bobby Hocking issued a Declaration making
May Red Nose Month in La Marque Texas and the Commissioners
donned Red Noses to celebrate. Mr. Raynard Benson
was present to share his nephew Dillian’s story and to invite
everyone to help Dillian fight child hunger by purchasing a Red
Nose as an entry fee to Saturday’s BBQ that was held at Dillian’s
Dream “Sweet Treats” this last Saturday. But not to worry, you
can still get your noses at any Walgreens or purchase a medium
Tiger Blood snowcone and get one free!
Galveston Food Bank was on hand to help out and let everyone
know about their KidzPacz Program for kids once school is
out. La Marque locations are: First United Methodist Church at
1825 Howell Ave and the Public Library 1011 Bayou Rd.
You’ll definitely want to tune in to NBC on Thursday, May 24.
That’s when Hollywood’s biggest names are joining forces
to bring you an incredible night celebrating Red Nose Day — a
star-studded night of entertainment dedicated to ending child
poverty here in America and around the world.
Watch your favorite celebs put their skills to the test for a
special edition of Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day, then
see stars compete on the Red Nose Day Hollywood Game Night
hosted by Jane Lynch. And end the night with a bang with the
fourth annual Red Nose Day Special hosted by Chris Hardwick.
Tell your friends! It all starts next Thursday, May 24 at 8/7c
only on NBC.
Best of all, you don’t have to wait until Red Nose Day to make
an impact. Caring people across the country are already joining
in to help make this the biggest Red Nose Day celebration to
date. You can too, by making THREE TIMES the difference for
children who need it most. Because RIGHT NOW the Bill & Melinda
Gates Foundation is TRIPLING all gifts
