Since 2013, Galveston County Judge Mark Henry
and the Veterans Treatment Court has been providing
support and assistance to Veterans and their families as
a means to become integral and productive members
of the community through a collaborative effort; honoring
them and restoring their dignity for their selfless
service to our country. Still today, Galveston County
Veterans Treatment Court is the first and only court in
the United States that is staffed entirely by Veterans. In
2014, the Texas Veterans Commission named Judge
Henry as being “one of the greatest veteran advocates
in the whole State of Texas.” For more information, visit
