DOG OF THE WEEK Could “Ivy” (A016354) be any more precious? Just look at her cute face. Ivy is estimated 12-18 months of age. She is a Norfolk Terrier mix, weighing 10 pounds. We sure hope you will come by to the ARC this week to meet our precious Ivy. Her adoption fee is reduced to $20, thanks to the charitable Boot Kikkers Bingo fund. CAT OF THE WEEK Arsinoe (A015522) is a Domestic Short Hair with a ticked brown tabby coat. She is a feline of mystery. Is she part Abyssinian? Was she born with a kinked tail or did something happen in her past life? Arsinoe isn’t telling! This young lady of about two years old is a beauty with her unusual coat that has that special ticked tabby silken feel. Arsinoe is friendly, playful, energetic and enterprising. She is excited to be Spokescat this week and having her Facebook debut. Be sure to come and meet her. ADOPTION DETAILS Ivy is available for a reduced rate of $20. Arsinoe is available for adoption January 2-5, 2018 at the special rate of $42.50. PET-OF-THE-WEEK COSTS Adoptions include rabies vaccination, neutering and microchipping. Senior citizens can adopt a senior pet for only $20. To adopt, call 409-948-2485 or go online to arcpets.org. These and other pets are available at the Galveston County animal resource center, 3412 Loop 197 North, Texas City.
