the I-10 Joe Lightsey Invitational this past weekend. Carter Crookston finished second in the
boys’ single draw while the mixed doubles team of Alejandra Lopez and Griffin Baillargeon
finished fifth overall.
CCISD had three freshmen participating at the Olympic Development Program in California.

Leone took part in the event, which helps USA Water Polo determine who will represent the
nation in domestic and international competitions.
Clear Creek’s boys’ golf team had a season-best performance at the Wildcat Invitational at
Moody Gardens last week, finishing second in the tournament and gives them a springboard to
compete for the District 24-6A championship, which will be held at Moody Gardens on April 1-
2.
