Jaycees Tackle Time still had its share of big hauls before the event reached its conclusion on Sunday afternoon. In the end, Kevin Helman proved to be the biggest winner, as his 7.69-pound speckled trout led to his winning $2,500 from Texas First Bank.
Tim McClellen won the $1,500 prize from DSW Homes and Benny’s Auto after catching a bull shark that weighed in at 277 pounds, which was nearly 54 percent of the record 515 pounds. The complete leaderboard looked like this: Offshore Shark: Tim McClellen, 277 pounds
