Galveston Native Receives Navy Commendation Medal

Kyle Combs, a native of Galveston, Texas, assigned to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC), in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, receives the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Feb. 21, from Capt. Douglas M. Bridges Jr., commanding officer, NAVSUP BSC. Combs received the award for his service as a Business Enterprise Management intern and project officer at NAVSUP BSC from July 2018 to February 2020. During this time, Combs expertly led multiple information system solution initiatives with a world-wide warfighter impact. His tireless work ethic, exceptional leadership, and complete dedication to duty reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service. NAVSUP BSC provides the Navy with information systems support through the design, development, and maintenance of systems in the functional areas of logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, and accounting.
