EIGHT AREA HIGH SCHOOL football players will get one more chance to represent their respective programs when they participate in the 18th annual Bayou Bowl, which will take play at Berry Center Cy-Fair FCU Stadium on June 13.

Clear Springs will provide the most representation as the Chargers will have offensive linemen Colton Cain along with defensive lineman Jacob Muellner and linebacker Colby Walker.

Also making the West roster were offensive lineman Tyler Armstrong of Clear Creek, defensive lineman Sterling Mack of La Marque, Clear Falls’ Malik Petteway, offensive lineman Ja’Kerrin Price of Texas City and offensive lineman Marcus White of Dickinson.

This will be the seventh year that the Bayou Bowl will be played with an East-West format. The series originally began as a series between the best players from the Southeast Texas area against the best from Louisiana before changing things in 2014.
