DICKINSON DOMINATED THE VYPE HOUSTON boys’ basketball all-star team as coach Jason Wilson was named coach of the year after leading the Gators to a 32-5 record and a trip to the Class 6A state semifinals. Senior guard Tramon Mark was selected as the area’s player of the year as the University of Houston commit averaged 29.3 points per game, adding to the long list of accolades he has received.

Teammate Marcus Williams was named to the first team All-Vype team and was joined by LJ Cryer of Morton Ranch, Bryce Griggs of Fort Bend Hightower, Justin Hill of Fort Bend Travis and Houston Yates’ Rubin Jones.

La Marque’s Jordan Ivy-Curry was named to the All-Vype second team and was joined by Crosby’s PJ Haggerty, Daylan Presley of Stafford, Lake Creek’s Pierce Spencer and Ramon Walker of Shadow Creek.
