Picking up where he left off from 2020, Dickinson’s Chris Welch was named the Southland Conference’s Field Athlete of the Week after the Houston Baptist University junior won first place in the triple jump during last weekend’s KMS Invitational. The performance vaulted Welch into 19th in the nation in triple jump performances.
