A wonderful week of sports begins with the Astros finishing a series with the Mariners before clashing with a pesky Royals team that drops into Houston. Tuesday is a main event of high school volleyball as the regular season begins to kick into overdrive, leading into Week 1 of the high school football season later in the week.
Sunday: The Astros close out the weekend series against the Mariners with a 1:10pm start time. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have coverage beginning with the pregame show at 12:30pm.
Monday: A Royals team that took three out for four from the Astros last week in Kansas City drop into Minute Maid Park to begin a three-game series beginning at 7:10pm. The pregame show gets going on AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starting at 6:30pm.
Tuesday: It’s a full slate of high school volleyball, beginning with Clear Brook at Jersey Village, Klein Oak at Clear Falls and Hitchcock at La Marque each starting at 5:30pm. Deer Park at Clear Creek gets going at 6:00pm, followed by Clear Springs at Dawson, Dickinson at Alvin, Texas City at Friendswood, Galveston Ball at La Porte and Santa Fe at Baytown Lee at 6:30pm.
The Astros continue their series with the Royals, as AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts coverage at 6:30pm, leading into the first pitch at 7:10pm.
