With four years of serving as a lifeguard for Galveston’s Beach Patrol, Jeffery Preciado is now a senior guard. He is proud of his team of lifeguards and the courage they display in their work to keep swimmers safe.
This year he was nominated by the entire staff as lifeguard of the year. From Colombia, he is on a student visa, and this is his last week in Galveston for this year.
