Bolivar: GOOD. 43 degrees. Bolivar has trout, sheepshead, and redfish at the jetties on popping cork and shrimp. Sheepshead at Sunken ship in front of SWP. Redfish at SWP off the rocks. Flounder still in Galveston harbor. Reported by Captain Raymond Wheatley, Tail Spotter Guide Service LLC.

Trinity Bay: GOOD. 56 degrees. Trout catches have improved in Nassau bay, both on live shrimp and soft plastics. Taylor Lake is good for speckled trout. A few reds being caught. Report by Captain David Dillman, Galveston Bay Charter Fishing.

East Galveston Bay: GOOD. 60 degrees. Waders continue to have the best luck on nice sized speckled trout and slot reds using artificials. Bull reds are also being caught in the same area. Report by Captain David Dillman, Galveston Bay Charter Fishing.

Galveston Bay: GOOD. 59 degrees. Exxon A Lease producing good numbers of sheepshead, with the occasional black drum and redfish, all on live shrimp. Report by Captain David Dillman, Galveston Bay Charter Fishing.

West Galveston Bay: GOOD. 59 degrees. improved numbers of sheepshead for those anglers throwing live shrimp. Black drum and bull red catches steady with live crab and cut mullet as bait. Report by Captain David Dillman, Galveston Bay Charter Fishing.

Texas City: GOOD. 60 degrees. Red drum, black drum at the end of the dike on the bottom with crab or cut mullet. Mosquito Island still holding trout on soft plastics with an occasional redfish as the cold weather approaches, looks for the fish in deeper water 7-12 feet on drop-offs, look for them to come back up in the shallow water as the sun warms the surface. Freeport: GOOD. 63 degrees. Redfish and drum are good in the river on live shrimp. Trout are good on artificials. Sheepshead, redfish and trout are good in the bayou on live shrimp. Report by Jake Brown, Flattie Daddy Fishing Adventures.

East Matagorda Bay: GOOD. 64 degrees. Choosing the right weather day will be key. Fishing is average with the best bite coming in the late afternoon and evening. River water clarity is off color after the recent rains pushing the fish to the diversionary canal and the west end of east Matagorda bay.
