Trinity Bay: GOOD. 67 degrees.Speckled trout beginning to show up in Trinity Bay along the shorelines with oyster reefs. Burnett Bay and Scott Bay still producing scattered catches of keeper speckled trout and redfish. Plenty of keeper sized black drum. Best bite in live shrimp fished under popping corks. Texas City: GOOD. 65 degrees. Exceptional sheepshead bite on the outside of the Galveston south jetty on live shrimp. Black drum catches on the inside of the north jetty, on live halved crab. Freeport: FAIR. 64 degrees. Fish are in the spring pattern. Trout and redfish are good in the bay over shell and mud using Down South Lures and live shrimp under a popping cork. Sheepshead are good near the pass over oysters and spawning at jetties biting on live shrimp.
