The Salvation Army of Galveston County is happy to announce the addition of Madilyn Pyles as Volunteer Coordinator.
“We have been searching and waiting for the Lord’s choice to fill this very important job,” says Major Nathanael Doria, Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army. “Madilyn has the heart, talent and energy to help us build up the volunteer program which is so vital for everything we do.”
Madilyn lives in Galveston and has been very active with the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce in event coordination. Gina Spagnola, President and CEO of the Chamber and member of The Salvation Army Advisory Board said, Madilyn is one of the most incredible young ladies that I have had the pleasure to know. She’s smart, kind, creative, strong, dependable and has a beautiful servant’s heart. As a volunteer at the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, she shined brightly! I’m certain that her love and compassion for helping others will be a valuable asset to The Salvation Army, our community and the people we serve. Our chamber stands with her to ensure her continued success.“
Madilyn is responsible for recruiting, training and placing volunteers at the Center of Hope in Galveston, the Boys and Girls Club of Texas City and building up year-round disaster response teams for local service.
