Tonya Nolan rolled into Texas City on Saturday celebrating with her family and closets friends. The red-carpet event was in honor of her hitting the R&B billboard charts with her newest release,” A Good Woman.”
Nolan, a native Galvestonian, has her own record label and is devoted to empowering women with her music. Her work is drawing the attention of audiences across the nation but she’s a Gulf Coast Woman and hasn’t forgotten who helped her to her success.
The celebration was held at Big Phil’s Creole Café located in Mainland City Centre, the Jerome Karam-owned building that is now becoming an entertainment center for the region.
