With just one more Tuesday remaining in the high school volleyball regular season after this one, area teams will go all out toward making sure they have life beyond next Friday evening. The new week kicks off with a doozy of a Sunday nighter as the Cowboys clash with longtime NFC rival Philadelphia with a share of the league’s best record on the line.

Sunday: The Texans have their open week. However, the Cowboys have the national spotlight when they visit Philadelphia to meet the Eagles, the league’s only undefeated team. KPRC2 will have the game live at 7:20pm.

If necessary, the Astros will visit the Mariners in Game 4 of the American League Divisional Series. Gametime is at 3:07pm and will be aired live on TBS.

Monday: Texas City’s boys’ golf team will be among those at Country Place Golf Club in Pearland for a meet that will be hosted by Pearland High School.

If the Mariners-Astros ALDS clash is pushed to a Game 5, it will be at Minute Maid Park beginning at 5:07pm.

Tuesday: The high school volleyball schedule starts with Clear Creek at Clear Springs, Clear Falls at Brazoswood, Dickinson at Clear Lake, Texas City at Friendswood, and Boling at Hitchcock each getting underway at 6:00pm. La Porte at Galveston Ball starts at 6:30pm.
