To kick off the holiday season, the Galveston County Museum will be hosting a Local Author Book Sale and Signing Event on Friday, December 8 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.. You will not want to miss this great opportunity to meet & support these local authors as well as get your own signed copies of their amazing titles. Not to mention, it could be the perfect gift for you or a book lover in your life!

The Galveston County Museum’s Local Author Book Signing Event will include:

There is no admission fee for this event. As a reminder, the Galveston County Museum is INSIDE the Galveston County Courthouse. Parking is free surrounding the county building, and the courthouse is handicap accessible. The Galveston County Museum cares for over 25,000 artifacts and archives. The vast majority of the artifacts have been donated by current and former county residents. The museum staff is always happy to talk with people interested in donating artifacts to the collection.
