Summer Kickoff: Adventure Begins at Your Library
Saturday, June 1st from 11 AM – 1 PM
Join us for a fun time at Moore Memorial Public Library as we celebrate the start of our Summer Reading Program: Adventure Begins at Your Library! A bubble station, balloon animals, face painting stations, sno-cones, popcorn, and other activities for kids of all ages will be available. There will be giveaways and information about our summer reading program. We hope to see you there! Sponsored by the Friends of Moore Memorial Public Library.

Family Matinee: Plumber Brothers Inc.
Saturday, June 8th at 1 PM
Come to Moore Memorial Public Library to watch as two brothers, a pair of plumbers who wear red and green respectively, travel through an underground world to save a captured princess (animated; Rated PG)! Popcorn will be provided. No registration required.

Join us at Moore Memorial Public Library as we watch a famous fedora-wearing, bullwhip-wielding “archeologist” and his friends race to find the Ark of the Covenant (Rated PG)! Popcorn will be provided. No registration required.

Toddlers will listen to stories, sing/move to music and action rhymes, and enjoy bubbles and playtime with others.
Preschool Storytime

Wednesdays, June 5th, 12th, and 26th at 10 AM
Preschoolers will hear stories, sing/dance to music and rhymes, then enjoy fingerplays and a fun craft or special activity.
Black Light Art
For ages 5 – 8
Wednesday, June 4th at 2 PM
In a blast from the past when black light posters were all the rage, ages 5 to 8 will color black velvet fuzzy posters with fluorescent markers in a black light, glow-in-the-dark room.

Ages 9 to 12 will use paints and markers to make some glow-in-the-dark artwork while in a black light lit room!
Space Art

This is a watercolor salt painting for ages 5 – 12 to make their own art inspired by pictures of the galaxies.
LEGO Free Build

Children ages 5 – 12 are invited to use their imaginations to play with our extensive LEGO play sets!
Oz Adventure
For ages 5 – 8

Follow the yellow brick road for some fun Oz-inspired activities along the way including a tornado in a bottle, a flying monkey zipline and a witch melting!
Kids’ Mario Kart Tournament

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Kids ages 9 – 12 are invited to race against other competitors in our first ever Mario Kart Tournament! Gulf Coast Center Women Veteran Workshop
