After a couple of weeks to tune up, high school baseball begins on Monday with seven of the area’s teams getting their 2025 seasons underway.
Sunday: No football. Begin to make up for lost time with loved ones. The UFL spring season will be here before you know it.
Monday: Opening day for high school baseball includes Clear Brook at Pasadena Memorial at 3 PM, followed by Kincaid at Clear Falls at 4 PM. Brenham at Friendswood starts at 5 PM with Clear Creek at Alvin and Texas City at Dickinson at 6 PM. Hitchcock at Kountze begins at 7 PM.
Tuesday: The softball schedule starts with North Shore at Clear Creek, College Station at Clear Springs, and La Marque at Elkins at 6 PM. HCYA at Clear Falls, Santa Fe at Dickinson, and Columbia at Texas City start at 6:30 PM.
The boys’ soccer schedule will have Angleton at Ball, Clear Brook at Dickinson, Clear Creek at Deer Park, Clear Falls at Brazoswood, Clear Lake at Clear Springs, La Porte at Friendswood, and Iowa Colony at Texas City starting at 7:30 PM.
On the girls’ soccer slate, Ball at Angleton, Dickinson at Clear Brook, Deer Park at Clear Creek, Brazoswood at Clear Falls, Clear Springs at Clear Lake, Friendswood at La Porte, and Texas City at Iowa Colony start at 7:30 PM.
