DESPITE THE WEATHER HOPE FESTIVAL WAS A HIT!

It was worth braving the frigid winds for a pony ride or two but most of the participants at the St. George’s Hope Festival stayed inside eating chili, buying homemade

baked goods and visiting all the crafting vendors with their amazing talents on display. There were hand carved books, all kinds of jewelry and wreaths;

Christmas decorations and toys. There was a Silent Auction, face painting and an Art Spot for budding artists to try their hands at crafting. And there was even a

train ride for those brave enough to tolerate the wind. A local artist played his guitar while everyone shopped and it truly was a wonderful Day of Play and Hope!
