Congratulations to the four La Marque Middle School students who made the Region 13 Band! This is the third year in a row that LMMS brings home a first chair All-Region player! First chair means the best out of everyone for that instrument. Congratulations to: 8th grader Maxwell Sajna, 6th chair in the Concert Band on clarinet; 8th grader Katherine Castro-Ramos, 2nd chair in the Symphonic Band on flute; 8th grader Cindy Salas, 3rd chair in the Wind Ensemble on flute; and 7th grader Diego Mendez, 1st chair in the Wind Ensemble on Alto Saxophone. The four All-Region students will perform their clinic and concert on January 25 at Needville High School. Band Directors are Mr. Quintana, Mr. Murray and Mr. Guerrero.
