Seeing Clearly

As the days are being counted off to the end of a year and the beginning of a new decade, what are you looking for? What do you really see when you are looking around, when you look at others, when you look into the mirror, and when you look into your heart? Do you see beauty? Do you see possibility? Do you see a question mark, comma, exclamation point, or a period? Do you see hope? Do you see love or hate? Take a look around. What do you see? Look again. I am beginning to see more. Starting today will you join me in seeing things? Drinking this beautiful, tasty, aromatic cup of coffee, in a special mug that means something to me personally and makes me smile is worth seeing. Watching my kitties and pup, sharing food and love with them are things I love seeing. Having one of my sons in my line of vision and hearing his laughter.  And even feeling some physical pain that reminds me I’m still here to be looking around. Reading notes, posts, and ideas, from my friends who are not just names on my screen, leaves me contemplating about what I really see. Life changing moments. Things that will never be exactly the same again. Just, look around.
