Dickinson’s Chris Welch, who was named the Southland Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year, announced last week that he will be attending Texas Tech. Welch was invited to the Olympic Trials following a season that saw him also compete in the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
