A number of area high school baseball and softball teams will be in postseason action this weekend, but the week is also filled with Astros baseball as they welcome a future Hall of Famer to town for the weekend.
WEDNESDAY: It’s a businessfan’s special as the Astros close out their series
against the Mariners starting at 1:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have
coverage at 12:30pm with the pregame show.
THURSDAY: Astros fans will get a firsthand look at the latest member of the
3,000-hit club as Miguel Cabrera and the Tigers come to Minute Maid Park for
the first of a four-game set. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest sets the stage with the
pregame show at 6:30pm, leading into the game at 7:10pm.
FRIDAY: If it’s Friday, then it’s postgame fireworks at Minute Maid Park. Before
that, though, the Astros and Tigers get going at 7:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts the pregame show at 6:30pm, but if you’re watching on TV, then you
can’t watch the fireworks afterward.
SATURDAY: The Astros get the FS1 treatment in the third game of their series
against the Tigers beginning at 3:05pm. The game will also be aired on AT&T
Sportsnet Southwest, which begins at 2:30pm with the pregame show.
Keep the TV on AT&T Sportsnet Southwest, which will air the MLS match between the Dynamo against host DC United at 6:30pm. Houston enters the week
with a 3-3-3 record after losing 2-1 to Austin FC on Saturday
