In business for 45 years, Doreck’s Meat Market is a family-owned and family run business. Jack and Nancy Doreck headed the company until 1994, when it was taken over by their three children—John and Raymond Doreck and Laurie Hadley. I had a chance to speak to John about Doreck and the services it offers.
He told me that Doreck is a full-service meat market. They offer custom meat processing on any animal, including deer processing during deer season. They have a grill where they sell burgers and rib-eye, as well as a barbeque. “We also make our own smoked sausage,” John told me. Their meat market offers a full range retail case complete with custom made, cut, meat. They also have USDA choice beef.
Supportive members of the community, they chose to feed First Responders at no charge after the Santa Fe tragedy, just as they did after Harvey. Doreck’s is well loved in Santa Fe and many of their customers will drive a long way to get their Doreck’s fix! John wanted everyone to know that the road in front of their market, which had been negatively affected due to construction over the past two years, is finally fixed. It is now a five lane road and going in and out of the market is extremely simple and convenient.
