Today we would like to highlight a return vendor from last year. Katia Gasparini grew up in Monselice, a small town in Italy near Venice. When she was young she was always interested in the crafts and decorations her mother and aunt made throughout the year. They showed her many techniques in decoupage and ornament crafting.
Every year they would spend many days and long hours leading up to Christmas to create the perfect ornaments for the family Christmas tree and for other people to discover in the northern Christmas markets of picturesque towns up in the Italian Alps and enjoy with their beloved and families. She met her husband Bob in 2002; they were married in the summer of 2007 when she finally moved to the United States. The first Christmas she celebrated with him and his family was delightful. Everyone thought her ornaments were wonderful and very unique. Since 2007 she has taken her family traditions to create wonderful ornaments here in the United States, so everyone can share them with their family and friends.
