Houston Baptist University and Dickinson High School alum Christopher Welch currently holds the 10th best triple jump mark in the nation this season, posting a jump of 16.19m/53-1.50 at the Rice Victor Lopez Classic on Mar. 27. That jump is the eighth-best mark in the West Region.
