
The start of April means the schedule begins to thin out. Baseball and softball dominate the first part of the week, with a dose of professional sports via the Astros and Rockets.
SUNDAY: Playing their final Spring Training road game, the Astros take on the Nationals starting at 12:05pm. KBME 790 AM will have the pregame show starting at 11:35am that will lead into the game.
The Rockets wind down their season with a visit from the playoff-bound Timberwolves. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will start coverage at 5:30pm, leading into the 6:00pm start.
MONDAY: It’s time to say goodbye to Spring Training for the Astros, who take on the Mets. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have coverage at 10:30am with the pregame show, leading into the 11:05am start time.
TUESDAY: The high school baseball schedule starts with Clear Brook at Clear Springs, Clear Falls at Brazoswood, Clear Lake at Dickinson, Friendswood at Galveston Ball, La Marque at Sweeny and Baytown Lee at Texas City at 6:00pm.
Manvel at Santa Fe completes the schedule at 7:00pm.
The high school softball slate gets going at 5:00pm with Hitchcock at Danbury, followed by La Marque at Stafford at 5:30pm. Clear Falls at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Dickinson, Clear Lake at Clear Springs, Friendswood at Goose Creek Memorial, Baytown Sterling at Santa Fe and Manvel at Texas City are each
6:30pm starts.
In their penultimate road game for the 2021-22 season, the Rockets travel to meet the Nets at 6:30pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts the coverage at 6:00pm with the pregame show.
