Growing up did you have someone say to you “Watch your mouth?” Was that because you said something that was inappropriate. Sometimes we find ourselves speaking negative more than positive. Have you heard the saying “speak only what you want to see, not what you actually see?” Romans 4: 17– (last part) “God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” Start raising some dead situations by changing what comes out of your mouth. What we ask and how we ask are important if we are to get what we ask or pray for.
James 1:6-8– tells us to ask in faith without wavering. If you waver do not think you are getting anything
from God. Because you are double minded and unstable.
God listens for His Word and responds to faith.
When He hears His Word spoken and it is according to His will, He responds. Do not focus on how
long God takes, have faith He will, and it will be right on time. Because His timing is always the best, with
benefits included.
The definition of “Decree” is a formal and authoritative order having the force of law. A mandate or proclamation.
The first step is to start using your mouth to decree what you want to see. When you decree use the
Word of God to state your case of what you want to see and expect to see it. The next step is to declare it.
The definition of “Declare” is to announce or state; to state with authority; to proclaim a choice or
decision. Keep your mouth (declaring/saying) only what you have already decreed.
It does not matter what it looks like, you keep saying what you want to see until you see it.
The Word of God says you are:
• Victorious not defeated.
• Healed not sick.
• Prosperous not poor.
• Loved not hated.
• Forgiven so be forgiven.
• Righteous through Christ.
• Saved by His grace.
• Free so do not be bound.
Start saying who God say you are. When you speak
His promises over your life, circumstances, and your
family, things change.
Take an inventory of what you are seeing on a regular basis. If it is not what you like or want, watch and
change what is coming out of your mouth.
