Scrimmage time for high school volleyball teams begins on Friday with a quick turnaround coming with the start of the regular season starting on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Astros finish a homestand with the Guardians before heading to New York to face off against the Yankees.

Wednesday: The Astros conclude their homestand with a 7:10pm date against the Guardians. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts coverage at 6:30pm with the pregame show.

Thursday: It’s back on the road for the Astros, who visit the Yankees just in time for a returning Aaron Judge to get reestablished in the New York lineup after missing nearly two months with a toe injury. Game one starts at 6:15pm on KRIV26 as part of Fox’s national broadcast.

Friday: Volleyball scrimmages abound with Clear Brook and Dickinson at Pearland beginning at 9:00am. La Marque at Houston Milby also starts at 9:00am, while Clear Creek is a Memorial in a scrimmage that includes Clear Springs and Langham Creek at 10:00am. Hitchcock at High Island gets their scrimmage underway at 3:00pm.

The Astros-Yankees series again gets national attention as the second game will be aired on Apple+ beginning at 6:05pm.

Saturday: More volleyball scrimmages dot the day with Dawson and Texas City at Clear Falls starting at 8:00am, with Clear Clear hosting Episcopal, Alvin and Santa Fe at 8:30am, while Dickinson visits Baytown Sterling at 9:00am. La Marque at South Houston starts at 9:00am.

Start time for the third game between the Astros and Yankees will be at 12:05pm, with AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starting coverage at 11:30am with the pregame show.
