The Texas country music legends Dos Borrachos—the duo of Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager—will headline the Third Annual Galveston Island Country Music Fest on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Galveston Island Convention Center, 5600 Seawall Blvd.

Known for their high-energy performances and crowd-pleasing hits, Dos Borrachos will bring their signature blend of humor, honky-tonk, and heartfelt Texas country to the island. Their latest album, Uno Mas, released in June 2025, features fan favorites like “Margarita Man,” “This Beer is Making Me Awesome,” “Those Nights These Days,” and “Joe Sure Knows How to Live.”

Fowler, originally from Amarillo, and Creager, from Corpus Christi, formed Dos Borrachos in 2019 after a songwriting trip to Mexico. The name—Spanish for “two drunks”—was inspired by a late-night taco run after outlasting their friends at the bar. Their chemistry and camaraderie have made them a must-see act across the state.

This year’s event promises more than just a concert—it’s a full-on Texas-style celebration. Picture a “Bankers Ball meets Texas Hill Country Honky Tonk” with pool tables, a mechanical bull, arcade games, a Texas-sized dinner, vendors, drinks, and of course, live music.

The evening kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with games and entertainment, followed by a brief annual meeting and awards presentation at 6:30 p.m., where the Chamber will celebrate milestones and honor Vic Pierson the 2025 Galvestonian of the Year. The party continues with Dos Borrachos taking the stage at 8:00 p.m. A VIP Meet & Greet will follow for top-tier sponsors.

Reserved table sponsorships start at $3500 and open-seating individual tickets are $175 for Chamber members and $225 for the public.
