Texas City High School Cheerleaders had an outstanding week at NCA Camp

The Texas City High School Cheerleaders had an outstanding week at NCA Camp at Sam Houston State University, earning numerous individual and team awards under the leadership of coach M.C. Guisti.

Congratulations to Micary Billiot, Crystal Christten, Payton DeLaGarza, and Katelynn Gallagher for being named NCA All-Americans. Seniors Micary Billiot and Crystal Christten also received invitations to try out for the NCA staff.

Micary Billiot was recognized with the Camp Leadership Award, while Crystal Christten, Jasmine Christten, and Brielle Harris earned Pin It Forward recognition for their positive leadership and sportsmanship.

Mascot Riley Ferguson received both the Mascot Leadership Award and Mascot Team Unity Award.

The varsity squad earned the Herkie Team Award, Technical Excellence Award for Visual Appeal, and the Stunt Award. The JV squad was recognized with the Technical Excellence Award for Crowd Effectiveness.

Congratulations to all of these talented student leaders and Coach M.C. Guisti for representing Texas City High School with excellence, spirit, and Stingaree pride!
