Texas City High School football player Nikolas Funtes signed with McMurray University in Abilene. The versatile Fuentes was named honorable mention all 10-5A last season at tight end and also played offensive line. He is pictured with offensive line coach Kevin Palmer, head coach Leland Surovik and tight ends coach Farley Owens.
