The Texas Department of Transportation began on May 11 the demolition of the Vauthier overpass in La Marque that crosses I-45. The overpass will be closed until TXDOT completes the road work, which will not be complete until sometime in 2023. The closure will repeat each night from 7:00pm to 5:00am.
