Athletics will conduct physicals for all TCISD athletes from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Texas City High School. The cost is $10. Physical forms can be downloaded from Sports Medicine website at tcisd.org/athletics.

Numerous procedures and protocols are being put in place to ensure the health and safety of our students during their physicals.
- Only one student will be allowed at the first two stations at a time.
- All stations will be wiped down between each student.
- Only One Parent can accompany their child if desired
- Masks must be worn at all times while in the building (no mask will be provided)
- Students must show up no earlier than 5 minutes before appointment time
- No bathrooms will be available on this day
- All forms must be filled out prior to arrival. Extra forms will be available on site, but they will be asked to fill them out in their vehicle.
- Parents must take their student home immediately following the completion of physical. They can pick up their child in front of the school near the weight room
Students will check in at the glass doors to the cafeteria at the back of the high school. Payment will be taken at this time, temperatures will be checked, and social distancing will be ensured. The following procedure will then be followed.
- They will be led thru the first doors to the Aux gym on the Southeast corner and do the first station of Height and Weight. One person will take the height and weight and the other person will record it (approx. 1 min)
- Next, they will head to the southwest corner of gym and do vision. One person will lead them through vision and the other person will record it on the physical (approx. 1 min.)
- Next, they head to the northwest corner of Aux gym and we take their blood pressure. There will be 3 people taking blood pressure and recording it on their physical (approx. 2-4min.)
- Next, they head to the northeast corner to do ear nose and throat. The doctors group will be heading that station (approx. 2-4min).
- Someone will lead the student out of Aux. gym and into the competition gym through the doors on the Southeast corner. They will do their Ortho with the Doctors group. There are 4 stations there because this station takes the longest. (approx. 5min)
- Next, Some-one will lead them through doors on Northwest corner to J110 for the Doctor. A coach will be outside the classroom to socially distance anyone waiting. (there should not be a wait because the appointments are spread out enough) (approx. 5min)
- After the student leaves the doctor they will check out with an Athletic Trainer and exit the doors in the J Hall.
