With the All-Star Break upon us, consider the next few days to be quiet on the sports front. Those in need of an Astros fix can watch Tuesday’s All-Star Game, where a pair of Houston’s Finest will be in Denver.
Sunday: The Astros close out the first half of the regular season with the finale of an October teaser against the Yankees. TBS will have the game live beginning at 1:00pm, with first pitch slated for 1:10pm.
Monday: Beyond high school gyms continuing to be open for offseason workouts, there is nothing scheduled for the day.
Tuesday: The Astros will be well-represented in the annual All-Star Game, which will be held at Coors Field in Denver. Heading to Colorado will be outfielder Michael Brantley and relief pitcher Ryan Pressly. Second baseman Jose Altuve and shortstop Carlos Correa were also selected to the All-Star Game, but announced on Thursday they would not attend. Fox 26 will have the game live, which begins at 6:30pm.
