
Dickinson High School alum and Texas A&M junior Jalen Wydermyer is among the nation’s top tight ends named to the first watchlist of the John Mackey Award, which goes to the best college football tight end in the country. Wydermyer was a finalist for the award in 2020, yet lost out to Florida standout Kyle Pitts, who was selected as the fourth overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
