Donovin Carraway of Texas City signed his National Letter of Intent attend Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth next fall and play for the Rams football team on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. Donovin led district 12-5A with 8 interceptions, with 106 return yards and 2 returned for touchdowns. He also led the team in kickoff returns with 10 for 205 yards (20.5 yards per return) and had 7 receptions on offense for 101 yards and 1 touchdown. Donovin also led the team in punt returns with 14 for 120 yards. Carraway also was selected District 12-5A first team all-district cornerback.
