Stephen Edward Oliver was embraced in the loving arms of his Savior and his loved ones in Heaven on April 10, 2023. He was born on January 28, 1952 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Stephen was one of three children born to R.B.Oliver and Helen Parrish. He was a pipefitter/welder by trade and worked out of Local 211.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father R. B. Oliver. He leaves behind his companion, Stephanie Green, a son, Steve Oliver of Texas City, a daughter Tiffany Dadi of League City and Erica Noyes and husband Mike of Houston, Texas. He has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Parrish of Texas City, and two sisters Paula Brightwell and husband John of Texas City, and Kathy Cappolino and husband Carl of Dacula, Georgia and five nephews.
Stephen’s hobbies were drawing, pottery, and like his Dad, was an avid flower gardener. His other interests were music and his love of dogs.
Graveside services will be at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas 77598 on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Pastor R.L. Calhoun officiating
