With a week of high school football under our belts, the fall sports schedule is in full swing, which continues with a Tuesday filled with volleyball and tennis. The Astros continue their road swing by opening the week at the Red Sox.

Sunday: The Astros give the ball to ace Justin Verlander, who gets to face the Tigers team that he began his career with, during the series finale at Comerica Park beginning at 12:40pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have the pregame show at 12:00pm.

The Texans visit the Saints in what will be the final game of the NFL’s preseason schedule. KRIV26 will have the game live at 7:00pm.

Monday: It will be the Astros’ turn to play guests when they visit the Red Sox for the first of a three-game series against the same Boston team that showed up in Houston last week. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have the game live at 6:10pm, with the pregame show starting at 5:30pm.

Tuesday: The high school volleyball schedule starts with Clear Springs at 5:30pm with Deer Park and La Marque at South Houston, followed by Klein Collins at Clear Creek and Hitchcock at Texas City at 6:00pm. North Shore at Clear Brook, Clear Falls at Pearland, Pasadena Memorial at Dickinson, Galveston Ball at Beaumont United, Friendswood at Fulshear, and Goose Creek Memorial at Santa Fe each start at 6:30pm.

In high school tennis, Clear Springs at Brazoswood and Clear Lake at Dickinson each start at 3:00pm, followed by Clear Falls at Clear Creek at 3:15pm, with Texas City at Barbers Hill starting at 4:00pm.

The Astros and Red Sox meet in the middle game of their series starting at 6:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have coverage at 5:30pm with the pregame show.
