The Fine Arts Academy of the Bay Area Harbour Playhouse is now accepting registration
for its two summer drama camps. First session is June 4 – 29 and second
is July 9 through August 3.
Camp classes, for youngsters age
6 -16, focus on the basics of acting,
including character development, creative
expression, and script interpretation.
Lead teacher will be Maggie
Bledsoe, assisted by Hunter Miles.
At the June camp, after two weeks
of study, the students will prepare a
production of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice
in Wonderland” which will be open to
the public during the last two weeks of
camp. Local preschools are invited to
bring their students to see the shows.
Cost of each camp is $250 per student
for four weeks of class, Monday
through Friday, 10am-2pm. Students
should bring a sack lunch and a drink
for their enjoyment each day.
Youngsters may register by calling
281-337-SHOW (7469) or by going to
the theatre at 3803 Highway 3 in Dickinson.
